The person in charge of access to information is responsible for applying the Act Respecting Access to Documents Held by Public Bodies and the Protection of Personal Information  (Act Respecting Access).

This person is also responsible for applying articles 112 to 119 of the Act respecting the sharing of certain health information  (Act Respecting Access) guaranteeing access to the Québec Health Record (QHR). For more information, please refer to the Québec Health record access to information and rectification policy.

The person in charge must therefore ensure access to Ministère documents and make sure personal information is shared in accordance with the Act Respecting Access and the Act respecting the sharing of certain health information.
