Make a complaint

Concerning a Health and Social Services Institution or a Health and Social Services Agency

If you are dissatisfied with the care and services you have received, or if you believe your rights have not been respected, you can make a complaint.

Concerning the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS)

The MSSS honor the commitments made in the Service Statement. However, if you are dissatisfied with the service obtained, you can contact the person designated by the Ministère to process complaints to inform him or her of your dissatisfaction.

Time limit of complaint processing

Your complaint will be processed within 20 business days or less, from the day it was received. If we cannot send you a full and final answer within this time limit, we will inform you of the date that it will be sent to you.

Person designated by the Ministère to process complaints coordinates

The person responsible for complaints receives complaints and comments regarding the commitments contained in the Service Statement and examines them thoroughly and independently.

You can communicate with the person responsible for complaints in whichever way that is most convenient for you. Your complaint will be processed in strict confidentiality.
