2009-2010 campaign for young people

The campaign for preventing STI's aims at encouraging young people to use condoms with their partners and to continue using condoms after their initial relations. The theme is "Beware and Be Aware." In Québec, despite prevention efforts that have been made over the last few years, 3 to 4 people still get infected with HIV every day. In its message to mark World AIDS Day 2009, the Ministère wishes to remind the population that prevention, screening and treatment are still the best ways to stop the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted and blood borne infections.
