Mr. André-Pierre Contandriopoulos

André-Pierre Contandriopoulos is a full professor in the Department of Health Administration in the Faculty of Medicine at Université de Montréal and a researcher at the Institute of Public Health Research, Université de Montréal (IPHRUM). He holds a PhD in Economics from Université de Montréal and has been working in the health care field for over 40 years. Over the course of his career, he has held several administrative positions at Université de Montréal and has served on several government task forces. He is a member of the Royal Society of Canada since 1996 and of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS) since 2006. In 2001, he received the CHSRF Health Services Research Advancement Award. His teaching, research and publication interests include the organization and funding of health systems, professional workforce planning, assessing interventions, performance and governance, the determinants of population health, health policies and the transformation of health systems.
