Become a hero in 30 minutes flat!
Take the 30-minute Hero in thirty© training course and learn the essential steps (CPR without mouth-to-mouth) for saving lives.
The Hero in thirty© program was developed by the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux in collaboration with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec and the Corporation d’urgences-santé. This short training course teaches a simplified version of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR): a simple and effective method that only uses cardiac massage, without mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
Wouldn’t you like to be able to save the life of someone who suddenly collapses from a heart attack?
Until now, CPR certification required taking a course that lasted 4 to 5 hours.
The basic technique for saving lives has been greatly simplified since a number of studies have shown that cardiac massage alone in the first few minutes is just as effective as cardiac massage combined with the mouth-to-mouth technique.
The 30-minute Hero in thirty© training course will prepare you to act quickly to help an adult who has suffered a heart attack until help arrives.
By applying the simple, risk-free CPR technique taught during the Hero in thirty© course, anyone can save the life of a family member, friend, or complete stranger, and become a hero for life!
This training course is offered, throughout Québec, by the 4,000 instructors certified by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec.
