Duplessis orphans - Section 176 of the Act Respecting the Sharing of Certain Health Information now in force

Section 176 of the Act Respecting the Sharing of Certain Health Information came into force on December 1, 2012. This section of the Act, unanimously adopted last June, enables eligible individuals and, in particular, those commonly designated as “Duplessis orphans,” to apply for the full destruction of certain types of information contained in their file.

Awareness and information campaign about bullying

« Bullying is out. It's time to stand up! » - That’s the theme of the campaign. A microsite and promotional spots for television and the Web have been developed to inform the population about bullying and the importance of preventing the problem. These methods encourage young people to denounce bullying and to become everyday heroes and heroines. Themes such as cyberbullying, physical and verbal violence are addressed. The campaign is led by the Ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport, in conjunction with the Ministère de la Sécurité publique, the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux and the Ministère de la Justice.
